He was born in Dercolo Val Di Non and his name is Marco Finadri, his father was Angelo and his Mother was Maria Iob. Denise Baratta (Melbourne, Australia) --- dfwi@techno.net.au It is very interesting to see what an immense work you did to trace your ancestors! Our family is also like your Pilati ancestors, from Tassullo and we have our genealogical tree going very far into the centuries. Our family left Trentino at the beginning of the 18th century! But we bear the name of the place since our ancestors were barons of Tassullo. The eldest ancestor to which the filiation goes back without interruption is Nicola (Nikolaus) Pilati di Tassullo - ennobled with the predicate of Tassullo by the bishop of Trient 13.2.1642 - He was born in Mezzocorona 1580 and died in Mezzocorona 15.5.1647. He was the son of Johann-Baptist Pilati and Costanza Maria von Goldeck. He married Anna Maria de Manincor von Freieck und Casez-Ehrenhausen. This gentelman who was ennobled had brothers who were called only Pilati, like his father. This means that the family from this moment onwards was divided into 2 branches:the noble one, started by Nicola, and the common one with all his brothers. Pilati von Thassul zu Daxberg (Austria) --- pilati@eunet.at < My grandparents came from the villages of Dardine and Mollaro in the Val di Non. I want to give you my congratulations for the extraordinary job that you developed. Maybe you can help me to look for the "lost" American branch of Chini -- a brother of my great-grandfather Francesco emigrated to Pennsylvania. He married Rosa Pastorelli and they had a son Primo. Ivo Iob Ivo Iob (Padova) --- ivo.iob@unipd.it My ancestors come from Val di Non, specifically Campo Tassullo and Nanno.
